The queen of black grapes is the protagonist of Casali del Barone, a range of wines that express the tradition and history of Piedmont region, between Langhe and Monferrato. The warm aromas, intense taste and powerful aftertaste typical of this area, Unesco heritage, are celebrated in the whole range of Casali del Barone. The grapes of Nebbiolo and Barbera represent the unique taste of Barbaresco, Barolo and Barbera.






CASALI DEL BARONE BARBERA D'ASTI SUPERIORE DOCG 150+1
The passion of the 150 members of the Vallebelbo Cooperative combined with the experience of Schenk Italian Wineries. Here is how is born this intense ruby red wine, with garnet reflections. The nose has hints of red fruit, jam and spices. A soft, velvety wine with pleasant hints of vanilla and chocolate due to aging in oak wood. It is a full-bodied, structured, round wine with a dry and persistent flavour.
Food pairing and serving temperature
It is perfect with truffles’ first courses, second courses of red meats or boiled meat. It, also, matches well with aged, blue or spicy cheeses. Serving temperature: 16°- 18°C.

CASALI DEL BARONE PIEMONTE DOC BARBERA 150+1
The passion of the 150 members of the Vallebelbo Cooperative combined with the experience of Schenk Italian Wineries. Here is how is born this intense ruby red wine, with floral hints combined with slightly matured red fruit nuances. In the mouth, it is full-bodied and round, with a soft aftertaste of dark chocolate and spices.
The grapes are hand picked and carefully selected on the tables in the cellar. The vinification takes place at controlled temperature for 10 days. The wine is then aged in small oak barrels for 3 months.
Food pairing and serving temperature
It is ideal with cold cuts and mature cheeses and perfect with chocolate desserts. Serving temperature: 16°- 18°C.

CASALI DEL BARONE BARBARESCO DOCG
Intense red garnet color, elegant and complex bouquet with violet and red fruit hints, delicate spicy and toasted nuances. In the mouth, it is intense and rich in fruit and wonderful scents. Harmonious and velvety, it has soft tannins, a pleasant freshness and taste. The wine has a long and persistent finish. After the fermentation at controlled temperature between 25° and 30°C for about 3 weeks, the wine is aged for 26 months – 9 of these in big wood barrels that enrich the wine with refined and evolutionary notes.

Ideal with roasted, boiled or braised red meat. Serving temperature: 16°- 18°C.

CASALI DEL BARONE BAROLO DOCG
Intense red garnet color, with a rich bouquet of plums, red fruits and jam, combined by tertiary aromas that remind wet soil, eucalyptus, tobacco, and leather.
In the mouth, the sweet tannin is predominant and persistent with balsamic and toasted hints in the finish. After the fermentation at controlled temperature (25°-30°C) for about three weeks, the wine is aged for 38 months – 18 of these in wood.

Ideal with red meat and game, excellent with fillet with truffle. Serving temperature: 16°- 18°C.

LANGHE DOC BIANCO
Vinified in the heart of the Langhe and Monferrato from Chardonnay and Arneis grapes, the must is fermented at controlled temperature (between 14° and 16° C) for about 3 weeks and subsequently aged for 2 months on the yeasts before bottling. It has a straw yellow color with golden reflections and has an elegant olfactory profile with floral hints combined with fruity notes.
Pairings and service
Ideal with cheeses, cereal-based dishes, vegetables and fish. Serving temperature between 10° and 12° C.
LANGHE DOC NEBBIOLO
Vinified from Nebbiolo grapes, after fermentation at controlled temperature (between 25° and 30° C) for about 15 days, the wine aged in cask for 6 months. It has a red color with garnet reflections and is characterized by an olfactory bouquet with notes reminiscent of red fruits, such as cherry and sour cherry, and violet, with spicy tertiary aromas typical of wood. The palate is full and full of tannins, with a return of red fruit on the finish.
Pairing and service
Ideal match with typical seconds of Piedmont tradition. Serving temperature between 16° and 18° C.
