History
- Founded in 1952 in Reggio Emilia, Schenk Italia is one of the largest wine producers and exporters of Italian wines. In 1960 the winery was relocated to Ora, and it mainly focused on the production and processing of bulk wines. In 1965 the first semi-automatic line was installed and during the 1970s and 1980s the expansion continued throughout the plant and technical facilities. From 1993 to 1995 the entire winery at Ora was re-built and the first automatic bottling line was installed.

In 2002 a second high-speed line was introduced with a capacity of over 30,000 bottles an hour. In 2007 a new processing wine cellar increased the capacity by 17,000 hl to a new total of 63,000 hl per year. In the meantime Schenk Italia continued to focus on new product development and sourcing a wide variety of Italian products.

Present – The winery has continuously been adapted to remain up to date with modern technologies and quality systems. In the last few years Schenk Italia has strengthened its relationship with producers covering all the main wine producing areas in Italy. The quantity and range of products have improved predominantly in quality and the portfolio has been enhanced with top quality wines from Veneto, Piedmont, Tuscany, Abruzzo and Sicily.
